James Caan tells a funny story about when him and John Wayne was on the set of El Dorado together. James said John Wayne would tell him to take a step and turn around and give him a look something totally opposite of what the director Howard Hawks told. So he did what the Duke told him to because he was in awe of John Wayne. When he did it Howard yelled cut and got mad at him. He said John Wayne told him to do the same thing again and he did it and Howard got even more mad at him. And John said to do the same the thing again and Jimmy said he was so mad he was about to hit John Wayne and they were friends ever since that day. #shorts @filmSCHOOLarchive
