Emily Bieberly from 90 Day Fiancé is shocked by her father-in-law’s new plans for her and Kobe Blaise. The Kansas native met her Cameroonian partner in China, where she fell in love with him and got pregnant. After she returned to the United States to have her child, she applied for Kobe’s K-1 visa. In 90 Day Fiancé season 9, Emily faced challenges but eventually married Kobe in the finale. In 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8, Emily travels to Kobe’s home country for the first time alongside their kids and her parents.

Recently, Extra TV posted an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming episode that shows Emily at the dinner table with her husband, parents, and in-laws. She smiles and says, “I’m so happy,” adding that she’s excited that her mom, dad, and kids are in Cameroon to meet Kobe’s parents.

Kobe’s dad then smiles and responds. He claims that God has brought the family together for a purpose, so he wants Emily to marry his son again in a Cameroonian ceremony. This sudden request stuns Emily, who awkwardly smiles and asks, “we’re gonna get married? Again?”

Emily & Kobe’s 90 Day Fiancé Relationship Explained

Kobe & Emily Are Compatible But Still Face Cultural Barriers

The preview concludes as Kobe and his dad explain to their American family the importance of their ancestors’ blessings. Kobe states that marrying according to Cameroonian traditions would mean that both families would be tied together forever.

Kobe adds,
“so the only thing that can separate you guys can be death.”

In recent years, Kobe and Emily have encountered numerous challenges. Apart from welcoming three children, they have faced cultural differences and financial problems. Fortunately, things seem much better for the two lately. They have settled down and seem to be on the same page about their future goals.

Kobe and Emily didn’t seem like an ideal couple initially. The American woman was self-centered and only cared about fulfilling her own wishes. When Kobe arrived in the U.S., she forced him to be intimate with her instead of letting him spend enough time with their son. She mocked his fear of animals and disrespected his financial situation by buying her own wedding ring. On the other hand, Kobe also seemed unwilling to accept Emily. He was shocked by her postpartum body and weight gain. Kobe didn’t appreciate Emily’s idea to breastfeed their 1-year-old son for more than 8-10 months.

Kobe and Emily successfully navigated every challenge and overcame every hurdle together, forming a strong family bond that many 90 Day Fiancé couples aspire to have. They are one of the strongest pairs, and it seems that their marriage in Cameroon won’t change anything. The traditional ceremony will allow Emily to learn more about Kobe and his family, strengthen her relationship with her in-laws, and grow her love for Kobe. It appears that Kobe and Emily will be one of the 90 Day Fiancé couples who achieve their happily ever after in the new season.
