The Miami Hurricanes are considered “the team to watch” right now for Transfer Portal running back Damien Martinez, according to Pete Nakos from On3. Martinez is a big, durable featured running back who rushed for 1,185 yards and 9 touchdowns with Oregon State last season. He averages 6.1 yards per carry. The Hurricanes are believed to be in the market for a featured back and Martinez fits that profile better than anyone available. He will be making an official visit to Miami on April 25th – 27th after a whirlwind tour with other visits to Arizona, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
