Residents in a South Jackson neighborhood are concerned about illegal dumping.Neighbors on Wisteria Drive are looking for help after someone dumped furniture that some call an eyesore.They said some house on the street are rentals and when people move out, they leave their belongings behind, dumping them in the yards. Neighbors said they have reached out to the city, but nothing has been done.Ward 5 City Councilman Vernon Hartley said it’s an unacceptable situation, and he plans to make calls about the issue. In the meantime, residents said they have been coming together to clean up the mess.
