Strong and severe storms possible midday

Weather impact day has been issued for central Mississippi as we are expecting strong to severe thunderstorms to develop later on today. Between 10 a.m. To three p.m. Is going to be that prime time for when the storms roll on through. We had severe weather back off towards Arkansas and western Tennessee Louisiana around seven o’clock this morning. Already watching some shower activity south Mississippi south of highway 84 will have to watch the possibility of thunderstorms developing out of Louisiana and crossing the state line could possibly develop some stronger gusts storms by the later part of the morning temperatures feeling like june this morning that southerly breeze keeping us really humid out there as well. Do points also in the sixties and seventies will be watching that front move on through the morning hours expecting to cross the Mississippi River on the back half of the morning. Now with the setup today, we’re going to have to keep watch of two things. The first one or any thunderstorms that try to develop ahead of the line. These standalone storms are going to have the capability of not only producing damaging gusts, but also some hail within the storm itself. And if we end up getting some of that wind energy in the mix with this by the later part of the morning, we could possibly see some of these thunderstorms try to become super cellular and rotate. So tornadic activity is going to be possible later on today unfortunately. And then along our main line. Typically whenever we have that damaging wind thread, it’s *** shrew great line of *** board with um not much of *** wiggle waggle within the line itself, this is not the case. We have those clusters of thunderstorms within the line and this is also going to help produce not only damaging gusts but also the possibility of *** tornado warned storm after lunchtime areas west of I 55 should clear on out the Mississippi River counties for them. I 55 by around 23 o’clock, it’s going to be our eastern southeastern counties and down towards the pine bed. That’s going to be *** big concern going into the middle part of the afternoon. This is primetime daytime heating effect. These thunderstorms are really going to grasp onto that energy. So I think west or east excuse me of the I 55 corridor east of Carthage from Raleigh down towards Bass Field and over to the Pine Belt. This is going to be the main area of concern. Going into the middle part of the afternoon front clears out into Alabama by around 67 o’clock this evening. We will still see *** couple of shower hours and maybe *** thunderstorm later on tonight, but no severe threat is expected this evening temperatures today will stay in the seventies. It’s going to be *** very mild day today. Not very comfortable unfortunately. And then we trend downwards. Big time going into your friday temperatures forties and fifties in the afternoon, we dry on out for the weekend as well. very nice and comfortable. But as we head into Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, warm, moist air returns temperatures back above average, near 80.
