Super humid day with real feel values 100+ in spots

Happy fourth of july. Everybody, We started off this morning, mild muggy and not feeling very comfortable outside temperatures were in the mid to upper seventies across the region. Dewpoints also in the seventies. Now, some of that humidity will mix out *** little bit this afternoon, but even then, Very uncomfortable later on today, temperatures going from 88 by noon to 92 by around 3:00 today feels like temperatures back into the triple digits for the majority of central Mississippi and rain chances also expected to pick up later on this afternoon. Those who do see rain will cool on off *** little bit later on today, making things feel *** little bit more comfortable by the evening hours. But for the majority of the region, dangerous category is where we are going with those real field guys anywhere between 98 to 105 is what we are expecting in regards to rain again. Not everybody expected to see some showers or storms today. Especially west of I 55 our eastern counties. Again, not everybody but does have *** better chance of seeing some afternoon showers and thunderstorms. If you’re traveling from meridians down towards the pine belt, that is going to be the best chance of seeing those afternoon showers and storms Today. Now going into the evening hours, the metro looking to stay dry could have *** lingering shower up until around 890’clock that could hinder some fireworks forecast for the evening, but for the Metro and over towards the river, you should be good to go. We’re looking at drying conditions later on tonight. If you’re heading to trust Mark Park for the game or for the fireworks temperatures eventually getting back down to the upper seventies, low eighties and staying on the dryer note, mostly cloudy skies to kick off tomorrow morning 74 is where we are heading and then we’re back into the low nineties. By the afternoon, few showers and storms possible with real field values being that main concern up to one oh five degrees that comfort cast, not looking pleasant whatsoever for the rest of the week, feels like temperatures getting back to the triple digits because those dewpoints stay in the seventies with those rain chances diminishing and with the humidity staying where it’s sad when you get to that very dangerous category. Unfortunately by thursday, friday going into saturday and maybe even into the end of the weekend, this is when you really have to take care of your body. I always say you don’t want to beat the heat, you don’t want to be the heat hero, pretty much meaning you don’t want to push your body to an extent to where you start seeing symptoms of heat exhaustion or heatstroke. If you’re not sweating outside, you need to call 911 that is not *** good thing to do outside. I know we don’t like sweating, especially in the summer, but it’s good for you. It cools off your body with that high humidity and makes it more difficult for that sweat to evaporate off your skin. And that’s when we start to see more and more of that heat related illness, whether it be heat exhaustion or heatstroke, so do indeed take care of your body this week because that real feel is not going to be comfortable whatsoever. Here’s your seven day forecast for you guys, temperature is staying just add or above seasonal over the next several days. Rain chances do diminish as we head into the end of the week and to kick off the weekend, going into next weekend and into the following week, monday there is the possibility of *** better rain chance, but even then holding it off for now, the main story continues to be the hot, hazy, humid, real field values right.
