April is bringing some exciting movies, which, along with some of March’s most popular releases, can be enjoyed in theaters right now. After a couple of tough years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2023 was a great year for cinema, with massive box-office successes like Barbie and Oppenheimer, and critically acclaimed stories like Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. 2024 also has various highly-anticipated movies coming up, of which some can be currently enjoyed in theaters.

April started on the right foot with the release of movies like The First Omen, Alex Garland’s Civil War, and Dev Patel’s directorial debut Monkey Man. Last week saw the release of Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and the horror movie Abigail, which will be joined this week by Luca Guadagninos’ latest project (led by Zendaya), an action-comedy starring Bill Skarsgård, and a drama movie.
