Where To Find The Falcon Scout In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

One of the easiest ways to mark enemies for quests in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is by finding and using the new drone-like device, Falcon Scout.

One exciting new Utility Item added in Update v23.20 of Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 is the Falcon Scout, a drone-like device that players can control to loot items remotely, survey the land, and reveal enemy positions. Like Crypto’s Drone from Apex Legends, the Falcon Scout can mark enemy targets, which can be used for communicating with teammates regarding an opponent’s whereabouts. This marking can ability can also be used to spot adversaries through walls, but this comes at the cost of revealing the drone’s position to other players.

The Falcon Scout in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 is a loot item of Epic Rarity and can be found at any landmark or major landing spot on Fortnite‘s Island. This drone-like device has a chance of appearing in Chests, Rare Chests, Supply Drops, and Oathbound Chests.

There is also a slight possibility that the Falcon Scout spawns in Floor Loot. In other words, the likelihood of players encountering a Falcon Scout in a game cannot be determined since the spawn rate wholly depends on RNG. However, there is a method players can use to maximize their odds of finding one.

Best Location To Get The Falcon Scout in Fortnite

Fortnite content creator Perfect Score states that one of the best locations to go when searching for the Falcon Scout in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 1 is The Citadel. This landmark is located on the northwestern side of the map, south of Breakwater Bay and northwest of Anvil Square. This Fortnite location will spawn multiple Oathbound Chests, which Perfect Score claims have a better chance of giving players the Rare Falcon Scout. Moreover, The Citadel serves as the perfect spot for “farming” the ability to mark enemies.

For clarification, The Citadel is where an NPC Boss known as The Ageless Champion can be found. This hostile Character has been involved in several challenges throughout the season, but many players might not be aware that this NPC can be marked as an “enemy.” Therefore, Fortnite quest participants can quickly complete their challenges by landing at The Citadel, looting Oathbound Chests for a Falcon Scout, and then marking The Ageless Champion multiple times. Furthermore, there is no limit on how times players can mark The Ageless Champion in Fortnite. Accordingly, all players need to do is find a safe spot from the NPC Boss and other combatants and proceed to spam scans on the champion until all the related quests have been completed in Fortnite.
