Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, are well known in the Teen Mom world but have also unexpectedly crossed over with the 90 Day Fiancé franchise after online users noticed similarities between David and Ed “Big Ed” Brown. Jenelle, who originally starred in 16 And Pregnant and Teen Mom 2, married David in 2017 after they met two years prior. While the couple appeared on Teen Mom 2 together, David was banned from the franchise in 2018 after he posted a homophobic rant online; Jenelle was later fired in 2019 after David shot and killed her dog, Nugget.
Although they haven’t worked with MTV for years, Jenelle and Teen Mom‘s David Eason‘s dramatic relationship has remained a hot topic in theTeen Mom fandom. While the couple’s public disagreements usually find their way front and center, David was most recently discussed by Teen Mom fans, not because of his antics, but because he resembles Big Ed. The TLC star was well known for his relationship with Rosemarie Vega which was shocking during his initial introduction on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season 4.

Just me?” after Jenelle, who should leave David, posted an Instagram photo with her husband. While the unexpected 90 Day Fiancé crossover surprised Teen Mom fans, they were more shocked that David and Big Ed share some physical characteristics. Big Ed is roughly 20 years older than David and easily a foot shorter. Reddit users couldn’t unsee David and Big Ed’s common facial features. Several Teen Mom and 90 Day Fiancé fans pointed out that Jenelle’s husband and Big Ed’s eyes are close together, their cheekbones aren’t prominent, and their noses have a similar slope. “I love when my trashy tv worlds collide,” one Reddit user gleefully commented, while another wrote that the controversial reality stars could be distant cousins.
Teen Mom Fans Say David Is Worse Than Big Ed
Big Ed’s relationships with Liz Woods and Rose have stood out on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise due to his problematic actions over the years, but Teen Mom fans familiar with both programs agree that David remains more unlikeable. While Big Ed’s rude attitude and explosive arguments with Liz have continued his reputation as a 90 Day Fiancé villain, Teen Mom viewers can never forgive David’s racist and homophobic social media posts and penchant for physical violence, especially toward Jenelle, who once called the police after he allegedly broke her collarbone.
Although the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has continued to grow in popularity despite the antics of Big Ed and other 90 Day Fiancé villains, the Teen Mom franchise can’t say the same. In fact, while Jenelle and David’s behavior on Teen Mom was controversial, other cast members who should be fired include Briana DeJesus and Ashley Jones, who recently got into a physical altercation of their own on Teen Mom Family Reunion. David and Big Ed may look similar to reality television fans, but they are different in other respects.
