Woodall Mountain – Mississippi State High Point
The highest point in Mississippi is Woodall Mountain at 806 feet. This is a drive up, meaning that you can drive your car within feet if the highest point in the state. The mile long road to the summit is unpaved, however passable by your average passenger car.
The highest point in Mississippi is capped with a small monument indicating the highest point, as well as a USGS marker. The hill top is also shared with three communications towers, a bench and high point registry. The high point is encompassed by a gravel circle allowing for vehicle parking.
