A judge set bond at $1.5 million for a Rankin County teenager accused of murdering another teen in South Jackson.Cameron Horn-Crook, 14, was found shot to death Monday night at a house on Ridgecrest Drive. Violet Horn believes her son Cameron was set up. She believes 16-year-old Maxle Mooneyham picked up Cameron and brought him to the location where he was later killed.Horn said her son and the suspect had attended alternative school together. She said she doesn’t know why her son was killed.An investigator said in court that the 14-year-old was shot several times in the upper torso. Mooneyham is accused of dropping the body on the street. Police said he drove the truck back to Rankin County, where they said he allegedly cleaned out the vehicle and destroyed evidence in the case.Police said charges against Mooneyham could be upgraded to capital murder.John Foote, 17, is also charged with murder in the case.
