Not to be confused with their Super Cash program, where you can earn dollars-off vouchers that can be redeemed during certain time periods, the Navyist program offers perks based on your level — which is dictated by how much you spend.
Members of the previous iteration of the Old Navy rewards program who had unused points as of July 2021 will see those points rolled into the new Navyist program once they sign up. Any reward certificates will still be valid through their marked expiration date. The new program does not issue reward certificates, which helps streamline the process.

How to Sign up for Old Navy Navyist Rewards
You can sign up in stores when you checkout. For online sign-ups, go to OldNavy.com to sign up for the program. Click “Join for Free,” and all you need is a valid email address. You can also apply for an Old Navyist Rewards credit card.
Is the Old Navy Rewards Program Free?
Joining the program is completely free, and there are no membership fees throughout the year.
How Old Navy Rewards Work
As of July 2021, the Navyist program is now one membership program that includes the entire Gap family of brands. That means any purchases you make at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta are applied to the same account, and you can redeem your points at any of the stores. So now your Old Navy shopping spree can earn you dollar rewards, which you can turn around and redeem at Athleta. And yes, that does make the program so much more than “just” an Old Navy Rewards card. From the moment you become a Navyist Rewards member, you begin to earn perks.
Old Navy Rewards Perks
Core ($500 or less)
The Core level perks include:
- 1 point for every $1 spent. Every 100 points earn $1 in rewards.
- Free shipping (3-5 days) on orders over $50.
- Member-only exclusive offers.
- Birthday bonus.
- Convert unused Old Navy Super Cash (and GapCash and Banana Republic Factory Style Cash) into points.
- Free trial subscription to Athleta’s Obe Fitness.
Enthusiast ($500 to $999)
The Enthusiast level perks include all the Core perks, plus these:
- Even more member-only exclusive offers.
- Early access to sales.
- Bonus points for shopping two or more Gap, Inc. brands.
- Quarterly bonus points (250 points).
Icon ($1,000 or more)
The Icon level perks include all the Core and Enthusiast perks, plus these:
- Even more member-only exclusive offers.
- Free shipping (2-3 days) on orders over $50.

Old Navy Birthday Rewards
Regardless of your Navyist reward tier, you’ll still earn a special gift from Old Navy for your birthday. Gifts can vary from year to year, but it’s usually a coupon for a discount on a purchase during your birthday month. Check your email or Old Navy Rewards account around your birthday.
How To Convert Unused Old Navy Super Cash
Log in to your account, and under the “My Points and Rewards” tab, select “Earn & Redeem.” Any unused Bonus Cash is listed there, or you can enter the redemption code and select to convert. You can even convert expired bonus cash within 30 days of its expiration. This is an excellent way to ensure you aren’t leaving money on the table, so to speak, when it comes to getting the most out of the rewards program.
All members have access to the Pay It Forward feature, which allows them to donate the points or money they’ve earned to charities chosen by the brands. This is a particularly nice element of the new Old Navy rewards program, where you can donate the money you’ve earned to various charities such as the World Wildlife Fund, DoSomething.org, and The Imagine Mission Fund. You can do this by navigating to the Pay It Forward section in your account.
Old Navy Credit Card Holder Perks
Separate from the Navyist Rewards program, Old Navy also has its store credit card called the Navyist Rewards credit card. If you open a card, you receive 30% off your first purchase, so for the biggest savings, plan to use that discount when you’re making a large purchase.
You also get 20% off the first time you use the card at any of the four Gap, Inc. brands if you do so within 14 days of opening the card. Credit card holders also receive 5 points for every $1 spent at the Old Navy family of brands, versus 1 point for Navyist members. Check if you prequalify for the credit card online, with no impact on your credit score.
How To Redeem Old Navy Rewards
It couldn’t be any more simple to redeem your rewards through the Navyist Rewards program. Just log in to your account before shopping online, and your points are automatically available during checkout, without having to enter an Old Navy Rewards Code of any kind. You can choose to apply them to your current purchase or you can save them for a future purchase, just remember that points do expire if you don’t make at least one qualifying purchase within 12 months of earning them. So shop at least once a year, and your points continue to stay valid.
