In July of 2021 the Tamarack Fire burned through and around Grover Hot Springs State Park. Much of the trees in the surrounding mountains were burned. The fire also charred some trees and small structures within the park, but the campground was mostly untouched. These photos were taken in May, 2022 (post fire). The park is expected to reopen in the summer of 2022.

Grover Hot Springs State Park campground has 72 campsites for RVs, trailers and tents, but the main attraction is the hot springs and trout creek that runs through the park. The hot springs / pool are open year round except for two weeks in September for maintenance. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 27 feet). Most sites have have nice shade from the tall trees scattered about the campground. Each site also has a table, fire ring/grill and food storage locker. Campsites 73 through 76 are creek-side tent-only sites and have a short walk from the camping area.

Campground amenities also has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers($). Wood and ice are available for sale at the park office. Cell service is fair.
