How To Unlock Free Anden III Mount
The Anden III free mount was introduced along with Final Fantasy XIV’s 6.3 patch, but obtaining it requires a few steps. Here’s how to get it.
Final Fantasy XIV 6.3 has introduced the free Anden III mount for players to unlock. Free mounts are always well-met by the MMORPG’s community, as they are also seen as cosmetics in the game. Having mounts that go beyond the franchise’s staple Chocobo is common among the many fashionable players. While some of these mounts are gifted as rewards for event-exclusive currency, like the recurrent Kamuy wolves, others can be obtained by raising the player’s reputation with a specific beast tribe, such as the superb Miw Miisv.
While new players will likely take a while before getting a chance at unlocking the free Anden III mount in FFXIV, there are still alternatives to the early-leveled Chocobo. In fact, there are a few easy mounts to get in Final Fantasy XIV right at the beginning of a Warrior of Light’s adventure. Nevertheless, players who have progressed sufficiently through the game’s campaign will be able to grab the new mount, provided they have patience.
How To Get The Anden III Mount For Free In FFXIV
The main pre-requisite for unlocking the free Anden III mount in FFXIV is having the “Endwalker” Main Scenarios Quest (MSQ) completed. This means wrapping up the homonymous DLC’s campaign. Besides that, players will also have to have completed the “Go West, Craftsman” side quest from Lydirlona, which can be obtained in Mor Dhona (X: 22.3, Y: 6.8), according to FFXIV’s Lodestone. With those done, players will be able to unlock Anden’s Custom Deliveries, much like Ameliance’s Custom Deliveries in Final Fantasy XIV.
Players looking to unlock the Anden III free mount in FFXIV need to proceed to Shadowbringer’s The Crystarium map and find the Supplicant Sheep NPC (X: 9.3, Y:11.3), according to the Lodestone. Because this is a Custom Deliveries questline, players should have at least one class in the Disciple of the Hand or Land leveled at 80. This is either a Crafting or Gathering class, either will serve. Talking to the NPC will result in the quest “That’s So Anden”, which unlocks Anden’s Custom Deliveries.
With that unlocked, players will then need to reach level 5 in Anden’s Customer Satisfaction by making Custom Deliveries in Final Fantasy XIV. There is a cap of six weekly deliverable quests, which means that leveling the players’ reputation to the desired level will actually take a few weeks of grinding. Because this also depends on the quality of the delivered items, obtaining level 5 and subsequently unlocking the Anden III free mount in FFXIV may take something between three and four weeks.
Reaching level 5 in Customer Satisfaction with Anden will also grant players the Leafman Head Hat, beyond the free Anden III mount in FFXIV. This is but one of the many new additions that came forth with patch 6.3. The update also introduced the Lapis Manalis Dungeon in Final Fantasy XIV, which introduced players to an enticing new chapter in the search for Azdaja story.
