A tailgating favorite is now taking over Grain Valley, Missouri, about a 20-minute drive from Kansas City. We’re talking about cornhole. One man is taking a bigger interest in the game than most.”Many nights dreaming about this, about how I could put it together,” Mo Country owner Matt Brokaw said. We’re not saying Brokaw loves playing corn hole. But…”Before you know it, it’s going to be an Olympic sport,” Brokaw said.Why not? This tailgating tradition is blowing up, and the Missouri business owner has taken it to even bigger levels.”I actually had this idea come about on Memorial Weekend, so it took us all summer kind of put the plans together,” Brokaw said.The result of his ambitions is a massive cornhole board out behind his business. People love it.”My manager in the office, she’s like, ‘I’m getting calls all day long about this,'” Brokaw said.The massive construct lights up at night and shoots large bean bags from a slingshot.”We had a lady Saturday night make one, we had a guy actually make two and a row,” Brokaw said. The business owner says it’s not the largest cornhole in the world, but he says it’s pretty close. In fact, it’s 10 times the size of one that might be in your backyard.”We just took the dimensions off of a normal cornhole board, and then I said how big can we make this?” Brokaw said.The actual dimensions are 20 feet by 40 feet.
