GRICE IS NOW THE FIFTH SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO THE DEATHS OF VERONICA BUTLER AND JILLIAN KELLY. OSBI SAYS 31 YEAR OLD GRICE WAS ARRESTED AND BOOKED INTO THE TEXAS COUNTY JAIL ON TWO COUNTS OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER, TWO COUNTS OF KIDNAPING AND ONE COUNT OF CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE. According to an affidavit, a relative of the Twomblys told investigators that Grice was part of an anti-government group with a religious affiliation called “God’s Misfits,” along with the other four suspects. The relative also said they were told that Grice played a role in the deaths of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley, two mothers who disappeared from Texas County in late March. Butler and Kelley were on their way to pick up Butler’s children from the Oklahoma Panhandle. Their bodies were later discovered in rural Texas County, and they were taken to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office to determine their manner of death. The affidavit claims the two mothers were headed to meet Adams, who is the children’s paternal grandmother, to take the children to a birthday party. Cole and Cora allegedly blocked the road and diverted the two mothers to where Adams, Cullum and Grice were, according to court documents. Investigators said the relative also told them this wasn’t the first time the group attempted to kill Butler. In February, all five individuals allegedly went to Hugoton, Kansas, where Butler lived, but they couldn’t get her out of her residence. Grice was booked into the Texas County jail on Wednesday. On April 16, the four other suspects were all denied bond in a Texas County courthouse.
