Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching. This is another full 4K video!!! In this episode, we are hit by the recent “bomb cyclone” winter storm. We didn’t get a lot of snow, but had extremely cold temperatures for our area. At the time of filming this video it was -6 F (-21 C) with a wind chill of around -25 F (-31.6 C) We aren’t accustomed to those temperatures in the middle of the U.S., but we were prepared. I would not want to have to deal with those temperatures like some people do. Perhaps you get used to it?? Those people probably wouldn’t want to work in the sweltering heat and humidity of our summers. Anyway, back to the job at hand, a customer was plowing snow and spreading ice melt when the wheel studs and nuts broke off one of the rear wheels. Ethan and Gavon take our unit #10, the Peterbilt 337 with a Miller Industries 4024, 20 ton towing & recovery unit to help out this customer. I take my personal truck in case I need to leave for another call. There is one part of this video that makes my heart drop….you will know when you see it. As a dad, it scares me that my son my be seriously injured. Thankfully, he was not. This video shows how quickly things can happen. I’ve watched that same section of video in slow motion repeatedly to make certain he didn’t hit his head or his face. It is scary when you see it, but he is ok. I hope you all enjoy this video!!!
