Thousands of Mississippians were left in the dark Friday night.Power Outage U.S. reported more than 10,000 customers were without out power in Mississippi. The majority of the outages were reported in Sharkey and Humphreys counties, where a large tornado struck, causing serious damage and unknown injuries.Sharkey County reported more than 1,800 outages and Humphreys County had over 1,500 in the dark.Widespread damage was reported in Sharkey and Humphreys counties. The extent of the damage and injuries won’t be known until daylight Saturday.
