Jackson police have identified the city’s latest homicide victim.Jonathan Milsap, 20, was found about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Lakewood Drive, lying in the street, police officials said. Assistant Chief Joe Wade said he was shot and killed in a drive-by while walking down the street.Sam Brown, public information officer for the Jackson Police Department, said Milsap was shot multiple times by someone inside a red Audi. At least a dozen shots were fired, according to witnesses.Neither a suspect nor a motive has been identified in the fatal shooting. Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.This is the 70th homicide reported in Jackson so far this year.
